Who wants to be a Millionaire?

Slumdog Millionaire was hot in the newspapers too. It has been nominated to win the Oscars. Dev Patel is the main handsome actor! The film star Anil Kapoor became the host of "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" hindi version.

It made me watch this movie for the second time. Thanks to my neighbour who borrowed me her DVD - Slumdog Millionaire!

Slumdog Millionaire

I watched this movie because the title on the front cover of this DVD captures my attention!

A Mumbai teen who grew up in the slums, became a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" He is arrested under suspicion of cheating, and while being interrogated, events from his life history are shown which explain why he knows the answers. He won 20 Million Rupees!!!

The part which I like most, is when the boy went down to the shit hole!

A down to earth movie about daily life struggle to earn a living and raising a family.
by funny and hilarious characters : Jack Neo, Mark Lee, Henry Thia

speaking mixture of Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and English language.

A well set up movie sending a message to viewers with a combination of laughters and real life lesson. Should watch again!

I woke up this morning and looked at my wrist watch and my calender to see how am I doing so far.

They show 23 days!


My friends said I looked worried and full of anxiety.


Anyhow, I felt happy that morning to see that, for 23 days :


I could control myself,


I am able to be discipline,


I am able to focus

I have been living a normal life as long as 23 days



without turning GREEN!

opps... actually I haven't been drinking coffee! for 23 days

everyone knows I am a coffee addict!

can you believe that?

What an extraordinary achievement...

Yes, we also watch another marvel movie "The Hulk". Yes, it is a good movie too!!!

...if you watch it in the cinema! It won't be so nice if you watch it at home, because to see the huge hulk on my tiny TV screen! You might have a big screen TV at home, maybe a home theater. That will make a hulk of different!

I was influenced by my old childhood friend to transformers and I actually enjoy seeing these toys. I'm getting to like them already.

He already has a few. This is one of his collection.

Labour Day

I woke up late because today is a labour day. So no work for me! I haven't been able to enjoy sleep during my working days.

To relax and take time off, we have planned to catch a movie "Iron Man" , just launched yesterday. I met new friends along the way. I recommend you all to watch it !

We also chit chat over a cup of coffee after the movie. Did I mention coffee again? Yes, indeed. I think this is the younger generation trend. We saw many young people in cafes drinking coffee!

Anyway... this new friend of mine, he is a nice fellow, with lots of ideas he has put into my opened mind on the internet stuff.

Most surprisingly, he is able to do guessing or "feelings" or should I say, he can almost read my mind. Although we have never met.

I think we will be in touch often due to we have something in common and I'm also very certain that he is reading this blog now!!! : )

Hopefully not reading me again ! Only read my blogs... laugh lol...
