Happy Birthday Malaysia
This is one of my favourite ads by Petronas.
Eventhough, it was taken in 1999, but I find that its funny yet meaningful.
Something all of us could put into practice in our daily routine, especially in our workplace.

Wedding Dinner & Dance
Last night, I sat with fellow senior citizens and met with old school friends in a Wedding Dinner & Dance.

Joget is a Traditional Dance but we have it in every special dance occasion, especially weddings by the Peranakans. (Straits Born) or we named it the Baba and Nyonya community. They also have the slow dance like ballroom dance, cha cha. Not to miss the famous and the must have, the line dance.

drive to wedding
I just came back from my friend's wedding today.
Congratulations! KK and SL
The weather was really nice in the morning and everything went on smoothly from the beginning till the end.
I became his driver today.
But it rains heavily while I was fetching them home from the wedding lunch. There was a terrible traffic jam too.
Hey, its time for my dinner... signing off now. bye

Selamat Hari Raya!
Today we are celebrating one of Malaysia Festival!
marking the end of Muslim month of Fasting or "Puasa".
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all :
Saya ingin mengambil kesempatan ini untuk mengucapkan kepada semua:
"Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri"
Anyone having open-house?
What do you normally expect during Raya home visits?
You must taste all the delicious Malay Traditional delicacies or specialities like : the Ketupat, Rendang, Satay, Sambal Ikan Bilis, Lontong, Ayam Masak Merah, Lemang, Curry Chicken, Mutton, Beef, Roti Jala, and many more.
Not to forget the cookies, or "kuih-muih" like : dodol is a must!, kuih tat (pineapple tarts), kuih baulu, just to name a few.
Simply delicious!
A very joyous occasion to see all the family members come home to their elders. They called it : Balik Kampung! Its indeed a peaceful feeling in the Kampung, an escape from the busy city life to celebrate a wonderful Raya Festival.

And here is the Jelly Mooncake! Must eat as soon as you take it out from the freezer, while it is still chill.
I still remember those days, when we were very young, we had a lantern on our hands and walk around the neighbourhood at night. What a beautiful atmosphere with so many colourful lights at a peaceful quiet night.
I can smell the smoke when we first light up our candle in our lanterns. I can feel the heat on my fingers when we pull up our lanterns and wired up our lanterns with bamboo sticks to get ready to walk around in the dark.
I can still feel that moment!
